Marshalls continue to have strong links with Lackham College in Wiltshire, and have recently started sponsoring the the prize for the best student on the Land-based Technology Level Three course. The prize will be known as the "Marshall Cup" and along with the cup will be prize supplied by Marshalls, this year it was a Snap-on impact gun. In the attached photo this year's winner, Henry Keedwell, has the prize presented by managing director of Autoguide Ltd, Richard Robinson.
The press release from Lackham College is below:
"The winner of the Marshall Trailers Cup and Prize for Land-based Technology Level three is Henry Keedwell.
Henry actually commenced on the Level two Diploma in Land-based technology but after revision of Henry’s GCSE results and good academic and practical engineering ability, he was given the opportunity to step up to the Level three Diploma.
This is an opportunity he grasped with both hands, and ultimately did not let himself or his tutors down. His work has been submitted on time throughout the year, at distinction level. Henry proved to be an integral member of our tractor rebuild team and has volunteered much of his free time towards helping out in the workshops and building new machines for Marshall Trailers and Chippenham Farm sales.
His strong work ethic and jovial temperament ensures Henry is held in high esteem both by students and staff at Wiltshire College. Looking forward we would like to wish Henry the best of luck next year and in his future career."
