Two Bespoke Bale Trailers
23rd January 2013
In the last few weeks Marshalls has completed delivery of two unique bale trailers to different customers. The first was a BC/21 model cut down to 18ft, this was to meet the customer's requirement for a compact trailer with a relatively high carrying capacity. In addition the customer also specified a timber floor rather than a durabar, steel floor. The advantages of this type of floor is that it provides excellent grip for large loads and if it is damaged then can easily be replaced.
The second bale trailer was a modified BC/21, designed to carry pipes for an oil company located in Shetland. The dropsides were added to ensure the pipes could be safely carried and would not move during transportation.
